When you take ownership of one of our RV Water Service Panels be sure to look for the Warranty Information Tag.  Using your smart device, take a picture of the QR Code.  Your smart device will open a browser window in our Warranty registration page of the Anderson Brass website. Fill out the required information and submit your warranty registration.

LIMITED ONE-YEAR WARRANTY

LIMITED ONE-YEAR WARRANTY FOR RV WATER SYSTEM COMPONENTS

This Limited Warranty is provided by Anderson Brass Company ("Manufacturer") for its manifold valves, water control valves, fittings, and other fluid system components manufactured by Manufacturer (collectively, the "Products").

1. Limited Warranty

Manufacturer warrants to the original purchaser that the Products will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase (the "Warranty Period").

This Limited Warranty applies only to Products that are properly installed, maintained, and used in accordance with Manufacturer's instructions and all applicable industry standards.

2. Exclusive Remedy

If Manufacturer determines, in its sole reasonable discretion, that a Product is defective and covered by this Limited Warranty, Manufacturer's sole obligation, and the purchaser's exclusive remedy, shall be limited to either:

(a) repair of the defective Product; or

(b) replacement of the defective Product with the same or a substantially equivalent product,

at Manufacturer's option and expense.

Manufacturer may require return of the allegedly defective Product prior to providing warranty service. Replacement Products may be new or refurbished.

Any repaired or replacement Product shall be warranted only for the remainder of the original Warranty Period.

3. Warranty Claim Procedure

To make a warranty claim, the purchaser must:

(a) provide written notice to Manufacturer during the Warranty Period and within thirty (30) days after discovery of the alleged defect;

(b) provide proof of the original purchase date;

(c) provide information reasonably requested by Manufacturer regarding the claimed defect; and

(d) return the Product if requested by Manufacturer.

Failure to comply with the foregoing requirements may result in denial of warranty coverage.

4. Exclusions

This Limited Warranty does not cover any Product that has been:

(a) improperly installed;

(b) modified, altered, repaired, or serviced by anyone other than Manufacturer or an authorized representative;

(c) misused, abused, neglected, or subjected to abnormal operating conditions;

(d) damaged by accident, impact, vandalism, fire, flood, freezing, corrosion, chemical exposure, contamination, electrical events, acts of God, or other external causes;

(e) used in a manner inconsistent with Manufacturer's specifications or instructions;

(f) damaged due to improper maintenance or storage;

(g) damaged by use with incompatible products, components, systems, or materials; or

(h) subjected to ordinary wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or deterioration resulting from normal use.

Manufacturer does not warrant any product manufactured by a third party. Such products are subject solely to the warranties, if any, provided by their respective manufacturers.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY PROVIDED BY MANUFACTURER WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS.

EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET FORTH IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, MANUFACTURER MAKES NO OTHER REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MANUFACTURER EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, USAGE OF TRADE, OR OTHERWISE.

TO THE EXTENT AN IMPLIED WARRANTY CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, SUCH IMPLIED WARRANTY SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE WARRANTY PERIOD.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MANUFACTURER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OF ANY KIND.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, MANUFACTURER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF DATA, DAMAGE TO OTHER PROPERTY, VEHICLE DAMAGE, WATER DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY CLAIMS EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT CAUSED BY A DEFECT FOR WHICH LIABILITY CANNOT LEGALLY BE DISCLAIMED, OR ANY OTHER COMMERCIAL OR ECONOMIC LOSS.

IN NO EVENT SHALL MANUFACTURER'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO ANY PRODUCT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

THE LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION SHALL APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY ASSERTED, INCLUDING BREACH OF CONTRACT, BREACH OF WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, TORT, OR OTHERWISE.

7. No Extension of Warranty

No distributor, dealer, retailer, installer, sales representative, service provider, or other person is authorized to modify or extend this Limited Warranty or to assume any obligation on behalf of Manufacturer unless expressly authorized in a written agreement signed by an authorized officer of Manufacturer.

8. Transferability

This Limited Warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the Product and is not transferable without Manufacturer's written consent.

 

9. Governing Law

 

This Limited Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles.

 

10. Severability

 

If any provision of this Limited Warranty is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
